Evolution Marketing Signs On to B Lab’s COP30 Manifesto

We are proud to share that we have signed onto B Lab’s COP30 Manifesto. This global call to action challenges policymakers to reimagine our economic systems so they serve the wellbeing of people, the protection of the planet, and the long-term resilience of our communities. It urges governments to embed stakeholder governance into law, require credible climate action from businesses, and mandate human rights and environmental due diligence for all companies.

This initiative aligns with our values and the way we operate every day. At Evolution Marketing, we see our work as part of a broader movement to redesign how business is done. We believe the private sector must lead by example, and we take that responsibility seriously.

In support of the COP30 Manifesto’s goals, we are already taking clear, transparent actions across each of the key areas outlined in the call to action.

We measure our Scope 1 and 2 emissions as part of our annual carbon accounting process. This includes natural gas used in our office as well as all electricity consumed on site, which is largely produced by our own rooftop solar array. Our office operates on clean, renewable energy, and we have been tracking these impacts with precision for years.

We also measure our Scope 3 emissions. This includes the full range of activities that contribute to our value chain emissions, such as business travel and the carbon footprint of our purchased goods and services. We use the SME Climate Hub’s carbon calculator and have refined our methodology annually to include subcontractors and interns, ensuring our reporting is as comprehensive as possible.

We have a clear transition plan that guides our low carbon decision making across all aspects of the business. Our internal operations prioritize energy efficiency, responsible purchasing, and minimized waste. We compost on site, recycle rigorously, and maintain a landfill diversion rate of 98 percent. We use local, FSC-certified materials and support sustainable packaging and printing options. Our team drives a plug-in hybrid vehicle that charges using our own solar power, and we offset our carbon footprint each year through a verified carbon offset program.

We also have a public commitment to human rights. As a Certified B Corporation and Woman-Owned Business, our values are baked into how we operate and how we serve others. We participate in education partnerships, support youth-led conservation work, advocate for inclusive and just policies, and integrate human rights awareness into our client work. In 2024, we were recognized with the Green Master designation for leadership in greenhouse gas management and social impact, highlighting how our internal culture reflects the same principles we help our clients implement.

These practices are not side projects. They are central to how we run our business and how we envision the future of using business as a force for good.
