Sustainable Development Goals in Action
-
Fall 2019, kicked off a year long partnership between Evolution Marketing and two innovative Oconomowoc High School teachers, who were leading a NEW "Global Sustainability" course that was based on the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
-
In year two of the community partnership between Evolution Marketing and the Oconomowoc High School Global Sustainability Classes we focused on sustainability marketing, third party certifications and effective ways to communicate sustainability.
-
In year three of the community partnership between Evolution Marketing and the Oconomowoc High School Global Sustainability Classes we worked with the Spanish Language 5 classes as well as the AP Environmental Science students on several projects.
-
During the summer of 2022, Evolution Marketing was honored to have a local high school student spend the summer working with our Extern on a waste management project, that also provides excellent resources to help community members to make more sustainable choices! Ella also job-shadowed with us and attended the Green Homeowners United Open House and Pres conference.
-
We expanded our community partnership by working with students from Oconomowoc High School's Spanish for the Professions class. This collaboration brought the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) into the classroom through hands-on sustainability and marketing projects. Students explored real world applications of the SDGs, particularly climate action (SDG 13), responsible consumption (SDG 12), and partnerships for the goals (SDG 17), while building language and professional communication skills. We were proud to support the next generation of bilingual leaders and sustainability advocates!
